Below market rate affordable units will be available to qualifying very low, low and moderate income individuals and families. Affordable rents are based on the Area Median Income for Orange County and are adjusted for household size and income. To be income eligible, your gross annual household income cannot exceed the set income limits for your household size.

The number of persons permitted to occupy each affordable unit shall not exceed the occupancy permitted pursuant to the requirements of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development which, as of the Effective Date, is two persons per bedroom, plus one person (e.g., for a two-bedroom unit the maximum number of persons residing in the unit can be five persons.)

Pre-Application & Interest List Sign-Up Form

By signing up to this interest page, you will be placed on the interest list for Fusion Irvine’s affordable units. This request does not qualify you or guarantee you an apartment home. Fusion Irvine participates in the Affordable Housing Program and therefore, income restrictions apply. Residents will be selected via a lottery system. Once you sign up for the interest list, the leasing office will reach out within 5 business days with a confirmation number. All applicants will be required to provide detailed and personal information pertaining to income and assets during the application process.

  • List EVERYONE who will be living in the apartment, including applicant. Additional occupants can be added in the comment section.


    The applicant will immediately notify management in writing of any changes to the information provided on the Pre-Application Agreement.

    The management office will notify pre-applicants once their name is selected in the lottery. At that time, management will conduct a formal interview and begin the qualification process to determine eligibility.

    The applicant must contact management within 72 hours of the date of any notification of available unit or any other questions regarding your application.

    If applicant refuses the available unit, they will be removed from the interest list.

    An application will be considered inactive/rejected if the applicant does not respond within 72 hours to phone calls and/or notices.

  • By selecting the submit button below, you declare that all your statements in the above application are true and complete. If you fail to answer any questions or give false information, we may reject the application. Section 1001 of Title 18 of the U.S. Code makes it a criminal offense to make willful false statements or misrepresentations to any Department of Agency of the United States as to any matter within its jurisdiction.

    The selection of residents will be based on a lottery system. The leasing office will contact you within 5 business days with a confirmation number. The lottery will be held on October 9, 2018. The deadline for entering the lottery is September 28, 2018.

    Please note that you do not need to enter the interest list multiple times. We are only assigning one confirmation number per household. Entering multiple times will not increase your chances at being selected in the lottery as your household will only have one entry regardless of how many times you sign-up on our website. If it is found that a household is attempting to submit several inquiries to receive more than one entry into the lottery, they will forfeit their initial confirmation and notified that they will be removed from the interest list.
